About Kaplan Summer Schools

Kaplan Summer School could represent the most important four days of the beginning of your career!

Since Kaplan started running summer schools in 2007, we’ve seen over 700 young people come through our doors, from right across the country. There really is no better way to see what’s involved in a Business or Accountancy Apprenticeship than by attending one of these free sessions.

What to expect

Held at your local Kaplan centre, each Summer School lasts for three to four, fun-filled days.

Attendees can:

• Find out from those in the know what it’s like to work within business or accountancy sectors
• Learn CV tips and interview techniques from industry experts
• Develop a professional and effective CV with help from experienced tutors

Kaplan Summer Schools are a great opportunity to meet young people of a similar age just starting out in their careers.

How it can help

At the end of the School, each attendee will have written a professional CV and gained the confidence to plan their future career. Students can submit their CVs to Kaplan’s CV Service which helps match local employers with young people looking to start an Apprenticeship.

Plus, each summer school will give students the opportunity to meet, face-to-face, with businesses looking to take on an Apprentice.

Many students who have attended Kaplan Summer Schools have secured employment to do an Apprenticeship with the employers who attend the Summer School. Young people like Lewis Kerfoot and Hannah Crichton-Prince who so impressed at Summer School, earned themselves a job and gained a Business Administration Apprenticeship right here at Kaplan!
