You can also register with many different recruitment agencies online, or you can also visit their offices to join. These agencies, which are nearly always free to join, will aim to find jobs for you and help with the contact and interview process.
Don’t forget to check the national and regional newspapers both in print and online as they will advertise numerous job opportunities which may be right for you. You can also look through various industry magazines for job adverts within the industry that you want to work in.
Networking is a proven way of finding a job that is right for you. So why not join online professional networks which can enable you to contact employers and recruitment companies directly. You can also talk to your peers, teachers and leaders of any clubs and social events you attend to find out if they know about any job vacancies.
Employers can often be impressed if you take your own initiative and contact them directly to let them know that you are interested in working for them. Do not directly ask if they have any jobs, simply state that you would like to work with them and what value you could add to their business, and they can register your interest for any job opportunities that may come up in the future.
