Support for Schools

At Kaplan we understand how difficult it may be for students to make the right step into their career, equally we understand that it’s difficult to fit in careers events and guidance during the busy term time, so we will endeavour to provide you with as much support as possible.

Help with career events

Our experienced team of Apprenticeship Coordinators are available to attend any careers events you may be holding, and we can provide literature and advice to students and parents who may be interested in a career in a business or finance environment.

Enterprise days

If you’re looking for help with Enterprise days or would like an onsite presentation on careers in business then please get in touch, we would be more than happy to help provide support as business volunteers. All of our volunteers will have worked in industry as qualified Accountants and Managers, so rest assured we will provide your students with expert advice.

Invitations to our in-centre events
During the year, our centres across the UK hold several evening events for students and their parents to come in and find out more about studying with Kaplan. Our local teams will welcome you to our centres, give your students a tour of our facilities, and be on hand to answer any questions they may have.

Talk to current Apprentices

Some of our current Apprentices will also be available to explain how they have benefited from studying an Apprenticeship. A number of prospective employers will also talk through their current job vacancies. Over the past few years, students who attended these events have been successful in securing a job with these employers.

Talks on career options

Many of your students may find it difficult to ask questions in the open forum of a careers event, or may have further queries after reading our literature. We offer you the opportunity to have a member of our team visit your school to give students detailed advice about the different options available to them. We will explain the various routes into Apprenticeships, give advice on how to gain employment, and answer any other questions they may have.
