Hello bloggers!

It’s been a while since I’ve been updated my blog and I’m sure you’ve all been waiting with bated breath for my next instalment!

It’s been exceptionally busy since the Kaplan Accountancy Scholarships were rolled out. The Scholars have now secured training roles in accountancy firms and from September will embark on a very successful career. I’m 100% positive that they will remain ambitious and utilise their scholarship to its fullest extent. I’m also positive they will be outstanding representatives for both their employers and Kaplan. I wish them the best of luck and look forward to continuing to support them through their studies.

For those students who are interested in achieving the Scholarship next year, we can give you a head start and strong insight into the world of business, finance and accountancy by attending our four day Summer School. Our Summer Schools are held throughout the UK and will provide you with accountancy knowledge which will give you a great advantage when applying for the Scholarship next year. As I’m sure your teachers have always told you, knowledge is power!

While the Summer Schools are being held around the UK, I am responsible for coordinating two Summer Schools being held in Yorkshire. The first is being held in our Leeds training centre from Tuesday 3 August to Friday 6 August 2010. The second is being held in our Sheffield training centre from Tuesday 10 August to Friday 13 August 2010. Don’t let the Friday 13^th date put you off – it could be an amazing omen and be the first lucky step into a successful and lucrative career in accountancy.
