Kaplan Apprenticeships

Progress your career in business and accountancy

The Manchester and Preston scholarship panel took place on Tuesday 23rd March 2010. There were six finalists that were selected to take part in the final interviews, four from Manchester and two from Preston. It was a very hard decision this year as all the applicants that attended were very strong candidates and were very ambitious.

I am happy to announce that the Kaplan scholarships 2010 have been awarded and will be announced shortly.

I would like to take this time to give a big Thank you to all the applicants that applied for the 2010 scholarship and the teachers that supported the students applications and allowed me to attend school or college to discuss careers in finance and apprenticeships.

I would also like to thank the employers that supported the Kaplan Scholarship by attending the panel and interviewing the finalists.

I felt very honoured to be a part of the Kaplan Scholarship and it has opened many opportunitys already for the scholars. I am sure that they will use this opportunity to suceed in the future, and this is where their journey begins

I also have to Mention Lisa Carrick who has been looking for apprenticeships in accountancy for around a year now, and has been offered a position with a local company and will be starting her apprenticeship in August 2010. Well Done Lisa.

Congratulations also to Aimee Leigh Pickford who sent her CV to me last Thursday as she was interested in Apprenticeships in Business Administration and she attended a interview on Friday with one of our employers and was successful. Aimee will be starting her Apprenticeship on Tuesday 6th April 2010.

Well Done Aimee.
